In 1885, the renowned Portuguese artist Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro founded a ceramics factory in Caldas da Rainha — where the factory remains today. Creating eye-catching Tableware and Dinnerware that is synonymous with the artist. In the present-day, Bordallo Pinheiro continues the artists' legacy creating ceramics using traditional manufacturing techniques, just as the Artist would have used.
