John Boos and Co's journey start in 1887 when they created what would later be called the Butcher Block. The innovation started as a round sycamore block with 3 legs that blacksmith Conrad Boos was using in his own blacksmith workshop. After creating one for the local butcher a culture of unsurpassed quality customer centric craftsmanship was born.
The company combines 130 years of manufacturing experience with premium renewable hardwoods to produce the finest cutting boards and butchers block products. Each designed and made in the USA to meet the demands of culinary professionals and a standard of excellence.
